Perroquet Hotel is the thoughtful transformation of a mid-century Florida motel into a refined boutique destination that blends European sophistication with the relaxed character of coastal South Florida. Working alongside architect Bernard Dubois and an international creative team, Island Planning Corporation provided the landscape design, construction, and installation for the property’s outdoor spaces.

The landscape was conceived as an extension of the hotel’s architectural vision, using lush tropical planting and mature palms to establish a sense of privacy, shade, and tranquility throughout the property. Gardens surrounding the pool and guest circulation areas create a layered sequence of outdoor rooms, softening the architecture while reinforcing the hotel’s intimate residential atmosphere.

From plant sourcing through installation, IPC carefully executed every aspect of the landscape to ensure the gardens felt established from opening day. The result is a landscape that frames the guest experience, connecting architecture, nature, and hospitality into a cohesive environment that embodies the understated luxury of Perroquet Hotel.
